Settings -> Business Configuration -> "Age Verification"
If you're selling age-restricted items at your physical stores (locations), you can also sell those items through your online store/app. For that, first, you need to configure the Age Verification with "
FTx Identity." Once you configure the age-restriction details in FTx Identity, you need to utilize them in FTx Commerce to enable the age verification feature for age-restricted items.
To reach the "Basic Details" of the business, follow the below steps:
- Step 1: Log into Store Admin
- Step 2: Click Settings

Enabling Age Verification
You will see age verification disabled by default.
If you want to display the age-restricted products after verifying the age only, enable this switch. So, the customers can't see the age-restricted products without completing age verification.
If this switch is enabled, age verification will be asked during the checkout of the order. So, the customers must verify their age to place the orders.

3. Verify age using FTx Identity
You must set up and configure the required settings for the age-verification process to apply the age-verification widget and display steps to your online store/app.
As per the configuration in FTx Identity, you will see the options in the drop-down. You need to select the required age verification option to apply to your online store/app.
Once you configure the age verification settings, save the changes.
Age verification for your online store/app
When the age verification switch is enabled and verifies the customer's age before showing the age-restricted products, the customer will see this pop-up when they access your online store.

Although customers can skip the age verification and navigate to the store's home page, they can still proceed with the age verification process by clicking the tiny "AGE" widget from the online store or app.
