Category List Report Overview

The "Category List Report" will list all the categories of the products.

1. Reaching the "Category List Report"

To reach the "Category List Report," follow the below steps:

Step 1: Log into Control Center

Step 2: Choose Point of Sale

Step 3: Choose Reports

Step 4: Choose List Reports

Step 5: Choose Category List

See Figure A. You will see many types of list reports that will be useful to your retail business. By clicking the drop-down selection, you will see the different types of list reports.

2. Generating the Category List Report

To generate the "Category List Report," you don't have to click on the "Generate Report" button explicitly. The system will display the list of categories by default for the "Show List" option. If you wish to display it in a hierarchical manner, then you have to choose an option from the Show Hierarchy option and click on the "Generate Report" button again.

3. Show Hierarchy

This option displays two options to select from. Select the option and click on the "Generate Report" button.

Show List: Choosing this option will display the list of all the categories of the products in alphabetical order. See Figure B for reference. Figure B

Show Hierarchy: Choosing this option will display the product's categories in a hierarchical order of definitions of product categories. See Figure C.
