Customer Receipts

Overview 

A customer receipt provides essential details about the transaction, including the date, time, store location, items purchased, quantities, prices, and the total amount paid. This information is crucial for returns, exchanges, or any post-purchase inquiries. 

Reaching "Customer Receipts" 

To reach "Customer Receipts" in Control Center, perform the following:  
  1. Step 1: Log into Control Center 
  2. Step 2: Choose Loyalty 
  3. Step 3: Choose Customer 
  4. Step 4: Choose Receipts

Once you click on "Receipts," you will be redirected to the "Customer Receipts" page, where you can see the list of customer's receipts.

You can search for the receipts using the following filters: 
  1. Email: Displays the customer's email address.  
  2. First Name and Last Name: Shows the customer's full name, helping identify the individual associated with the transaction. 
  3. Choose Location: Indicates the specific store location where the transaction occurred, allowing for location-based reporting and analysis. 
  4. Choose Employee: Indicates whether the customer who made the purchase is an existing Loyal-n-Save employee or not. 
  5. Receipt Number: A unique identifier displayed for each transaction, vital for tracking and managing purchase records, returns, or disputes. 
  6. Cashier Name: Shows the name of the cashier who completed the transaction, providing accountability and enabling personalized customer service follow-up. 
  7. Sale Total: Shows the total amount paid by the customer for the transaction, including taxes and discounts.
  8. Purchase Time: The exact time the transaction was completed, useful for analyzing shopping patterns and timing promotions.

Filter Range

On the top right, you have the option to filter the date range. The Filter Range is used to specify a particular time period for viewing transactions. By setting a start and end date, you can filter the receipt data to only show transactions that occurred within that selected range.

The View icon on the Customer Receipt Dashboard allows users to access a detailed view of individual receipts. When you click on the View icon, you gain access to various specific details related to the transaction, which are essential for reviewing the purchase and understanding the loyalty rewards associated with it. Here’s what you can see: 

Register Info

This section provides details about the register where the transaction was processed. It includes information such as the store name, register number, receipt number, employee ID, and sale timestamp. 

 

Purchaser Info (Customer)

This area displays detailed information about the customer who made the purchase. It typically includes the customer's name, email, contact number, gender, customer type, and employee ID (if the customer is a Loyal-n-Save employee). This helps in verifying the customer’s identity and understanding their purchase history. 

Receipt Items

 This section displays the list of items purchased; it includes the details such as the item name, item UPC, line amount, and quantity sold

Campaign Rewards

This part of the detailed view shows the rewards earned by the customer from specific loyalty campaigns. It includes information about which campaigns were active during the transaction, the rewards earned (e.g., points, discounts), and how these rewards contribute to the customer’s overall loyalty status. 


Team Rewards

If the customer is part of a team within the Loyal-n-Save program, this section details the team points given on the receipt. It shows how the purchase contributes to team-based goals or rewards, which can be an important motivator in group loyalty programs. 

 

Download Receipt

While the View icon allows you to see all these details for review purposes, you also have the option to download the receipt. This is useful for record-keeping, audits, or providing the customer with a copy of the receipt if needed. The downloaded receipt will include all the details viewed, making it a comprehensive record of the transaction. Once you click on "Download Receipt,a preview of the receipt will be displayed as shown below:

Click on the Download button to download the image of the actual receipt.

The Download icon on the Customer Receipt Dashboard enables users to review and verify the details of individual receipts before downloading them.

Balance History

Click on the Balance History icon to view customers’ token balance history based on their transactions. A breakdown of the customers' balance history will be displayed as shown below:

To view the balance history of only the selected customer, select the Only Show Receipt Customer checkbox.

You can filter the customers' balance history based on the campaigns you select from the drop-down menu.
