How To Schedule Your Digital Signage

How To Schedule Your Digital Signage

FTx Control Center: Signage > Displays

Control center is where you will configure your settings and customize your promotions, advertisements, and messages to be displayed on your digital screens.

1. Log in to Control Center
2. Using the navigation menu on the left, click on signage

3. Click on displays

The displays screen will showcase all of your digital displays that you have set up to run in your retail store.

Here you can see your display names, a quick preview of any ads running, how many devices are connected to your promotional displays, when your ads were created, and when they were updated.

4. Click add new to start a new display

You will have two options for your display. One being configuration and the other being your content. Note: You must complete configuration before seeing content.

5. Under basic configuration:
  1. 5a. Name your display
  2. 5b. Disable or enable any notifications or settings
  3. 5c. Select your time zone and location
  4. 5d. Click save

After you click save, options for your scheduler will be available. It’s now time to get started with which content you will be displaying on your digital screens.

6. Click on content
  1. Menu Tools Customization
    1. 6a. Board Name: Double click on the board name displayed and fill in the name of your choice.
    2. 6b. Blue Settings Icon: Configure backend settings of your display such as basic settings, marquee settings, backgrounds, fonts, and slider effects.
    3. 6c. Green Grid Icon: Choose and change your layout. Once you click the icon, there will be several options you can choose from.

7. Click on the green grid icon button, choose your preferred layout, and click on switch to layout when the prompt pops up

First, depending on the digital display, you may require different dimensions. For instance, using a tv will differ from your customer facing digital screens. You can toggle between landscape sizes vs. portrait sizes easily by the click of a button.

The blue represents a static image, the images with the circle arrows are rotating slides, and the numbered items are grid menus where you can easily display your products as a group.

8. Click on open scheduler to begin using the scheduler tools.

9. Click on the green icon with an addition sign to add the number of ads you’d like to be displayed in this schedule.

Advertisements will be listed in the order in which they are displayed.

10. Click on the addition button under the promotion to add your content display.

11. Choose your start date and time and your end date and time. Click next to choose your advertisement.

12. Click on upload media to add new content by dragging and dropping your file or by clicking on browse.
  1. NOTE: After your file is uploaded, you can find it in my media folder
  2. You can also choose from previously uploaded advertisements that you already have in your media folder.

13. Choose the duration of your ad

Repeat steps 10-13 until you fill your scheduler to the number of advertisements you'd like displayed.

14. Once finished, click on save scheduler

Your digital signage is now live in real-time and is ready for use.
