  2. Finally, you may save or close a new item sale limit form by using the highlighted buttons.

1.1 Fields:

  1. Name: Enter the unique name for sale limits.
  2. Item Limit: This field can be set to determine how many units of these items can be sold, i.e., 30 packs (3 cartons), 50 packs (5 cartons), etc. Note that this will always be set at a child/subunit level.
  3. Include Parent Products: Since the sale item limit is applied to child products, toggle this option to YES if you wish to include all parent products.
  4. Match All Items: If this option is set to YES, it will match all the selected categories and will not allow you to add more items than a total of 30 or 50 (limit selected in the Item Limit field). If this field is toggled off, the system will allow you to select all the items without limit.

1.2. Manage Assignments:

  1.  Select Locations: This option lets you override the item sale limit to a specific location, location group, or all.
1) All: If this option is selected, it will apply the sale limit to all locations.
2) By Locations: If this option is selected, it will apply the sale limit to selected locations.
3) Location Groups: If this option is selected, it will apply the sale limit to all the location groups.
