Lottery Safe Movement Report Overview
The Lottery Safe Movement Report provides detailed tracking of all lottery-related movements involving the store safe. It captures key information such as the register number, Z report number, lottery game name, product UPC, and the safe values before and after the transaction.
Additionally, the report logs the names of employees who performed or updated each activity, along with the date and time stamps for accurate auditing.
This report helps in monitoring and validating all safety-related transactions for lottery products, ensuring transparency and accountability in day-to-day operations.
1. Reaching the Lottery Safe Movement Report
To reach the Lottery Safe Movement Report, follow the below steps:
- Step 1: Log into Control Center
- Step 2: Choose Point of Sale
- Step 3: Choose Reports
- Step 4: Choose Lottery Reports
- Step 5: Choose Lottery Safe Movement Report
You can also access the Lottery Reports by navigating to Point-of-Sale > Lottery > Lottery Reports from the main menu.
See Figure 1.1. You will see many types of lottery reports that will be useful to your retail business. By clicking the drop-down selection, you will see the different types of lottery reports.

2. Understanding the "Lottery Safe Movement Report"
You will see the "Report Data is Empty" message initially. You need to select the filter options to check the Lottery Safe Movement Report. See Figure 2.1.

3. Generating the "Lottery Safe Movement Report"
When you navigate to the page, you will see the options pre-selected by default. You can generate the Lottery Safe Movement Report with different filters by clicking on the "Generate Report" button displayed on the top right corner, as highlighted in Figure 3.1.

Fields:
- Reg #: This column displays the register number for which the lottery safe book is updated at the selected store location.
- Z Counter: It is the shift number for which the lottery safe book is updated at the selected store location.
- Lottery Game Number: It is the lottery game number that is defined in the lottery game module.
- Lottery Game Name: Here, the name of the game is mentioned in this column defined in the lottery game module.
- UPC: Here, the UPC assigned to this lottery item in the lottery game module is mentioned.
- Before: This column displays the number of tickets that were in the lottery safe before the lottery safe book update.
- After: This column displays the number of tickets that were in the lottery safe after the lottery safe book update.
- Employee Name: This column displays the name of the employee working on the particular register number for the particular shift.
- Date/Time: This column displays the date and time of the lottery safe book action.
- Employee Action: The action that is performed by the employee on the lottery safe is specified in this column.
3.1 Filter By:
This field has an attached drop-down menu consisting of two options:
- Show All: This option will display the data in the reports for all created discounts in the system. See Figure 3.1.1.
- Filter By Lottery: This option will display the list of lotteries on the Manage Filter page to select lotteries from. When the list is selected, the report will display data related to that list of lotteries.
Click on the "Manage" button to apply filters to get the customized results.

Manage Filter Screen Information:
1. Search: Use this search box for a specific result.
2: Results: Here, you see the relevant list of data for the selected lottery. You can search for a specific lottery in the Search bar as well.
4: Checkboxes: Select the required products by checking the appropriate checkboxes.
5: Arrow: Click the green Arrow button to move the selected records to the Selected List area as highlighted in Figure 3.1.2.

1. Click the "Clear Selection" button to remove the whole selection. To remove any record from the list, click the Remove (X) icon.
2: Apply/Close action buttons.
- Apply: Click the "Apply" button for the selected parameters. The system will navigate you to the Lottery Safe Movement Report home screen. Click "Generate Report." The system will generate reports based on your selection.
- Close: Click to close the Manage Filters window.

You can filter your sales data in the report by selecting the date range as well as specific times.
By clicking the edit box, you will be taken to a tiny calendar where you can select a specific date range. You can also manually enter the date in mm/dd/yyyy format.

- Start Date: This field lets you choose the start date of the selected date range.
- End Date: This field lets you choose the end date of the selected date range.

- Presets: Choose the time period for which you wish to generate the report.
5. Sort By:
This field will let you sort the report in 6 different orders, which are explained below:
- Lottery Game # Ascending: If this sorting option is chosen, the Lottery Safe Movement Report is sorted in ascending order of the lottery game number.

- Game Name Ascending: If this sorting option is chosen, the Lottery Safe Movement Report is sorted in ascending order of the lottery game name.

- Date/Time Oldest: If this sorting option is chosen, the Lottery Safe Movement Report is sorted in ascending order of the date/time.

6. Scheduling a Report
FTx Cloud POS supports report automation. You can configure a report and schedule it. The system will send the scheduled report to the indicated email IDs at the defined frequencies (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.).
7. Printing/Exporting a Report
You can print or export any report according to your requirements. When you use the Print function, the system creates and opens the report's PDF file in a new tab. You can download the soft copy or print the paper copy according to your requirements.
8. Manage Favorites
FTx Cloud POS allows quick access to the reports you need to view frequently through "Favorite Reports." You can save a report as a favorite and manage all your favorite reports from any of the report screens using the "Manage Favorites" button.
