Manage Safe – Modern

1. Overview

The Manage Safe feature manages the tickets for the new game tickets added at the store location. The activated game can be selected from the Add Games drop-down list. The associated list is the list of all games that are configured and active at your store location. You can manage spare/extra lottery tickets (which are not kept in the bin) with the Manage Safe feature.

2. Reaching "Manage Safe"

  1. Step 1: Log into the POS.
  2. Step 2: Choose Reconciliations from the left panel.

  1. Step 3: On the Reconciliation pop-up window, choose Manage Safe.

3. Understanding the "Manage Safe" Function

Please refer to Figure 2.0 and the description of the buttons and fields below to understand the "Manage Safe" function.

1. Game List: This is the list of the games that are added to the safe.
2. Add Game to Safe: This is the drop-down list of the games that are active at your store. 
3. Full Books: Enter the numeric value for the selected lottery game books that you wish to add to the safe.
4. Tickets: Enter the number of tickets per book X number of books.
Buttons:
  1. Add to Safe: Use this button to add the selected game with ticket number and books to the safe.
  2. Close: Use this button to close the Manage Safe form.

3.1 Adding Lottery Game to the Safe

  1. You can also add new books for the lottery game at your store by selecting the game name from the Add Game to Safe drop-down list.
  2. Then, you can enter the number of books against the Full Books text field.
  3. Fill in the number of tickets per book X number of books against the Tickets text field.
  4. Click on the "Add to Safe" button.
  5. Click on "Close."
Notes
The cashier can activate this book from the POS using the Lottery Activation function under Shift Reconciliation as needed.
