Managing the Favorite Reports

Overview 

"Report Favorites" shows the list of reports you saved as favorites. It allows quick access to the reports that you need to view frequently. Each report screen has the "Manage Favorites" button to save the configured report as a favorite. Using the same button, you can manage all your favorite reports from any of the report screens.

  1. How to save a report as a favorite.
  2. How to replace a favorite report. 
  3. How to delete a favorite report.

1. Saving a Report as a Favorite 

Please follow the steps below to save a report as a favorite:  
  1. Navigate to the report you wish to save as a favorite, such as a Buydown Sales Report, Invoice Summary Report, or Time Clock List Report
  2. Configure a report as per your requirements using the filter options.
  3. Click the "Manage Favorites" button highlighted in Figure 1.1.

  1. The Manage Report Favorites screen will appear, as Figure 1.2 shows. Click "Save as New Favorite.

  1. The Save as a favorite filter pop-up screen will appear, as Figure 1.3 shows. Enter a relevant name for the favorite report and click "OK."

  1. The system will save the configured report as a favorite and show a success message. You can access this report from "Favorite Reports.

2. Replacing an Existing Favorite Report 

When you replace a favorite report with another in the system, the report's name doesn't change; instead, the existing configuration is replaced with the new one. This is beneficial for updating any parameters or filters in the favorite report without altering its name.

Please follow the steps below to replace a favorite report.  
  1. Navigate to the report you wish to save as a favorite, such as a Buydown Sales Report, Invoice Summary Report, or Time Clock List Report
  2. Configure a report as per your requirements using the filter options.
  3. Click the "Manage Favorites" button highlighted in Figure 1.1.
  4. The Manage Report Favorites screen will appear, as Figure 1.2 shows. 
  5. In the Search box, enter the report's name or part of the name and click the Search button. The Manage Report Favorites screen will show the respective favorite reports, as Figure 2.1 shows.

  1. Click on the desired report and click "Replace Existing Favorite." The alert message will appear, as Figure 2.2 shows.

  1. The system will replace the existing favorite report with the new one and show a success message.  

3. Deleting a Favorite Report 

Please follow the steps below to delete a favorite report from any report screen.  
  1. Navigate to any report screen, such as a Buydown Sales Report, Invoice Summary Report, or Time Clock List Report
  2. Click the "Manage Favorites" button highlighted in Figure 1.1.
  3. The Manage Report Favorites screen will appear, as Figure 1.2 shows. 
  4. In the Search box, enter the report's name or part of the name and click the "Search" button. The Manage Report Favorites screen will show the respective favorite reports, as Figure 2.1 shows. 
  5. Click on the desired report and click "Delete." The alert message will appear, as Figure 3.1 shows.

  1. Click "Yes, delete it!" to delete the favorite report.
  2. The system will delete the report from "Favorite Reports" and show a success message.
Note: You can also delete a favorite from "Favorite Reports."
