POS Monitors Overview
"POS Monitors" shows you the list of all POS monitors installed at your location(s).
POS monitors are the CFD (customer-facing device) screens at the payment point in the store. They are attached to a POS device. In addition to receipt information, they may show advertisements or other promotional visuals. In Control Center, there is a separate "Display" module under the Signage section where you upload these displays (advertisements or other promotional visuals). You can assign or change the display from "POS Monitors."
"POS Monitors" enables you to:
- Access the monitor information.
- Change the monitor's display.
- Change the display for all selected POS monitors at once using Mass Assignment.

2. Understanding "POS Monitors" Layout
- Please refer to Figure A and the descriptions of the buttons and fields below to understand the layout of "POS Monitors."
Column Titles: Each column title indicates the type of information in the column. You can filter the list using the title to search for any specific monitor.
1: Mass Assignments: This button lets you change the display for all selected POS monitors at once.
2: Edit POS Monitors: This button lets you change the monitor's display.
3: Delete POS Monitors: This button lets you delete the monitor record.
Once installed, you can only edit the monitor's paired display. Please follow the steps below to view or edit the device information.
- Click the Edit icon under Actions shown in Figure A.
- The Edit POS Monitor screen will appear, as Figure B shows.

The Edit POS Monitor screen can be separated into four sections:
1: Monitor Information
2: Paired Content
3: Other monitors on this device
4: Action buttons
[1] Monitor Information
This section provides basic information about the POS monitor. The information in this section is not editable.
POS Device: This field shows the name of the POS device to which the monitor is attached.
Serial Number: This field shows the POS monitor's serial number.
Online Status: This field shows the POS monitor's status, such as Online or Offline.
Monitor ID: This field shows the POS monitor's ID.
[2] Paired Content
This section shows information about the display paired with the monitor. This section is editable.

Paired Type: This drop-down shows if the paired display is Display or Display & Uplift. You can change it to meet your requirements.
- Display: Display is an advertisement or other promotional visual.
- Display & Uplift: Display & Uplift is an advertisement or other promotional visual that includes the uplift campaign's promotions.
Paired Display: This field shows the thumbnail of the current paired (assigned) display. When you click the "Select Display" button, the Choose Display screen will appear, showing all available displays, as Figure D shows. Click on the desired display to make the paired display.

[3] Other monitors on the device
This section shows information about the other monitors attached to the same POS devices, if any:
Item Name: This column shows the monitor name.
Paired Display: This column shows the name of the paired display.
Created At: This column shows when the monitor was installed.
Updated At: This column shows when the monitor was updated.
[4] Action Buttons

Delete: This button lets you delete the monitor record.
Save & Close: If you click the "Save & Close" button, the system will save the changes made and navigate you to the POS Monitors screen.
Save: This button lets you save the changes you have made at any point.
Cancel: This button lets you cancel the changes made to the general information.
4. Deleting POS Monitors
You can delete the POS Monitor record from the POS Monitors home screen and the Edit POS Monitor screen.
Please follow the steps below to delete a monitor record from the POS Monitors home screen:
- Click the Delete icon shown in Figure A.
- A warning dialog will appear with two related options, as Figure F shows.

- Click “Yes, Delete” to delete the monitor record.
- Click “Cancel” to close the pop-up and skip the deletion process.
- To delete the monitor record from the Edit POS Monitor screen:
- Click the Edit icon highlighted in Figure A.
- The Edit POS Monitor screen will appear, as Figure B shows.
- Click the "Delete" button. The warning dialog will appear, as Figure F shows.
- Click “Yes, Delete" to delete the monitor record.
- Click “Cancel” to close the pop-up and skip the deletion process.
5. Applying Mass Assignment
The Mass Assignment function lets you simultaneously change the display for some or all selected POS monitors. Please follow the steps below to perform a mass assignment.
- Click "Mass Assignment," as shown in Figure A.
- The Mass Assignment - Display Content screen will appear, as Figure G shows.

1: Select Filter: You can select POS monitors using four filter parameters: By Location, By Location Group, By POS Monitor, and By POS Device.
By Location: If you select By Location, the system will show the names of your locations in Filter Items. If you select a location from it, the system will select all monitors configured at the location for the Mass Assignment operation.
By Location Group: If you select By Location Group, the system will show the names of your location groups in Filter Items. If you select a location group from it, the system will select all monitors configured at the location group for the Mass Assignment operation.
By POS Monitor: If you select By POS Monitor, the system will show the names of all monitors installed at your locations in Filter Items. If you need to select the monitors installed at a specific location, you can use the All Locations drop-down shown in Figure H.

By POS Device: If you select By POS Device, the system will show the names of all devices installed at your locations in Filter Items. You can use the All Locations drop-down shown in Figure H if you need to select the devices installed at a specific location.
2: Filter Items: The Filter Items section shows locations, location groups, POS monitors, or POS devices based on your Select Filter selection.
- Check the checkboxes to make the required selection.
3: Choose Display: Use the Choose Display drop-down to select the required display.
4: Selected Filter Counts: This field shows the number of selected locations, location groups, POS monitors, or POS devices.
5: Apply Mass Update: This button applies the Mass Update operation.
- Make the required selection and click the "Apply Mass Update" button. Based on your choice, the system will update the display of all selected monitors or configure them at selected locations or location groups.
