Pricebook Zones Groups

The Pricebook Zone Groups enables users to perform mass updates on product cost, price, average cost, min/max values, and invoice or vendor part kit cost changes using Zone Groups instead of selecting individual zones each time. 

In this module, you can perform the following: 
  1. Create and manage Pricebook Zone Groups 
  2. Assign zones to groups 
  3. Mass update cost and price using Zone Groups 
  4. Apply updates across multiple modules using Zone Groups 
  5. This reduces manual effort and improves pricing management efficiency. 

1. Reaching the "Pricebook Zones Group" Module 

To reach the "Pricebook Zones Group" module:  
  1. Step 1: Log into Control Center  
  2. Step 2: Choose Point of Sale 
  3. Step 3: Choose Maintenance 
  4. Step 4: Choose Locations 
  5. Step 5: Choose Pricebook Zones Groups

You will see the list of all created Pricebook Zone Groups. 

Default Pricebook Zone Group 

  1. A Default Pricebook Zone Group is system-created. 
  2. All existing Pricebook Zones are assigned to this group. 
  3. This group is selected by default. 
  4. You may override this selection by choosing a different group. 

Add a New Pricebook Zone Group 

  1. Click + Add New.

  1. A Create Pricebook Zone Group pop-up window will open. 
  2. Enter the following details: 
    1. Name: Enter the group name.

  1. Choose one of the following actions: 
    1. Save & Close: Save and return to listing. 
    2. Save & New: Save and open new form. 
    3. Save: Save details. 
    4. Cancel: Discard changes. 

Edit a Pricebook Zone Group 

  1. Click on any group from the listing or click on the Edit icon.

  1. Update the Name field. 
  2. Click: 
    1. Delete 
    2. Save & Close 
    3. Save & New 
    4. Save 
    5. Cancel 

Delete a Pricebook Zone Group 

  1. Click on the Delete icon.

  1. Confirmation message appears: “Are you sure you want to delete this item?”

  1. Click on the "Yes, Delete" button to confirm. 
  2. Click "Cancel" to abort deletion.  

Mass Update Pricebook Zones to a Zone Group 

This allows for assigning multiple zones to a selected group. 
  1. On the Pricebook Zones listing page, click on "Mass Update."

  1. Select one or multiple Pricebook Zones.

  1. Enable the Pricebook Zone Group toggle. 
  2. Select one Pricebook Zone Group from drop-down. 
  3. Click on "Process."

  1. If not enabled, a validation appears: “Please enable the Pricebook Zone Group toggle and select a Pricebook Zone Group to update.” 
  2. Once clicked on "Process," a preview window displays the selected group and associated zones.

  1. Click on the "Update Pricebook Zones" button to confirm and apply changes.
