Product Attributes Set Overview

Product Attributes enrich the information about products and provide additional ways in which the products can be defined and managed. The attributes can be thought of as specifications for the product. A collection of attributes is called an attribute set, and the attribute set is applied to specific products as required. Under product attributes, the product name and value fields are to be kept short.

Reaching "Product Attributes Set"  

To reach "Product Attributes Set,follow the below steps:
  1. Step 1: Log into Control Center
  2. Step 2: Choose Point of Sale

  2. Step 4: Choose Products
  3. Step 5: Choose Attributes Set

Click on "Attributes Set," and it will open the Product Attributes Set window. Here, you will see its page with various fields.

1. Adding a New Product Attribute Set

Follow the steps mentioned below to add a new product attribute set: 
  1. Click the “Add New” button in Figure 0.1 above to add a new product attribute set. 
  2. The form highlighted in Figure 1.0 will appear on your screen.

Fields:
1. Attribute Set Name: Enter the attribute set's name to use in the product tree. 
2. Active: This toggle will enable (if YES is selected) or disable (if NO is selected) the created attribute set.
3. (Manage Attributes) Add New: This button will manage attribute sections/groups below.
You can add up to a total of 10 attributes per group.

1. Enter Group: Fill in the attribute group name that you are adding.
2. Delete/Remove Attribute Group This option will delete the added attribute group.
3. Input Type: This drop-down list contains the input type that has been created as Attribute Type in the Attribute Type category.

4. Remove: Clicking on this button will remove the added attribute.
5. Add Attribute: This button will save and add the attribute set.
Notes
You can add up to 10 attributes in one attribute set. 
  1. Once done, click on the "Save" button, and the product attribute set is created.

6. Save and Close Buttons: These buttons are used to save, close, and cancel the changes made in the form.
Enter the information in the fields and click on the "Save" button to save the product attribute. Click on the "Close" button to discard the changes and go back to the Product Attribute Set page.

In the Products category, the added attribute can be reflected in the "Manage Attributes" button.
as highlighted in Figure 1.5.

2. Editing the Product Attribute Set

Follow the steps mentioned below to edit the product attribute set:
  1. Click the Edit button highlighted in Figure 0.1 above to edit the existing product attribute set. 
  2. The form highlighted in Figure 2.0 will appear on your screen.

  1. Edit the required information in the fields to edit the theme, save, and close using the highlighted buttons as shown in Figure 2.0.
  2. The field information is explained under the Add New Attribute option.

3. Deleting the Product Attribute Set

Follow the steps mentioned below to delete a product attribute set:
  1. Click the Delete button highlighted in Figure 0.1 above to delete a product attribute set.
  2. A warning dialog box will appear with two related options.

  1. Click “Yes, delete” to continue the process of deleting the product attribute set.
  2. Click “Cancel” to close the pop-up and skip the deletion process.
