Redemption Settings Overview

"Redemption Settings" allows you to configure settings related to bottle redemptions and associated gift cards.

Reaching "Redemption Settings"

To reach "Redemption Settings," follow the below steps:
  1. Step 1: Log into Control Center
  2. Step 2: Choose Point of Sale
  3. Step 3: Choose Maintenance
  4. Step 4: Choose Settings & Panels 
  5. Step 5: Choose POS (Point of Sale Settings)
  6. Step 6: Choose Redemption Settings

Understanding "Redemption Settings" Layout

Please see the image below labeled Figure 2 for a description of the buttons and fields that appear on the screen.

  1. Redemption Cash Department: This is a dedicated department that handles the redemption cash department. 
  2. Allow Gift Card Redemption: Setting this toggle to YES allows gift card redemption in exchange for recyclables at the store. See the following three figures below:

  1. Gift Card Add Type: This field defines the card type as Flat Dollars or Percentage Dollars.

  1. Gift Card Add Value: Based on the selected Add Type (Flat/Percentage), the gift card value is set from here.
