                              Figure 1.2

The calculation considers all applicable campaign filters, including:
  1. Customer interests
  2. Store/location targeting
  3. Age criteria
  4. Gender
  5. Customer communication preferences
  6. Other applicable campaign conditions
These are the customers who will receive the campaign when it is published.

                              Figure 1.3

This represents the complete customer pool from which the campaign audience is selected.

6. Overall Percentage

                              Figure 1.4

6.1 Calculation

Info
Overall Percentage = (Expected Reach ÷ Total Customers) × 100
If the selected store has no customers, the value safely displays 0%.

7. Audience Breakdown

The Campaign Simulator window also provides demographic insights into the eligible audience.

7.1 Gender

                                    Figure 1.5

Displays the number of eligible customers grouped by:
  1. Male
  2. Female
This chart helps identify the gender distribution of the campaign audience.

7.2 Age

                                 Figure 1.6

Displays the eligible customers based on the configured age criteria.
The chart includes:
  1. Selected: Customers whose age matches the campaign's configured age rule.
  2. Outliers: Reachable customers who fall outside the configured age criteria.

8. Customer Interests

Displays a breakdown of the reachable customers per interest attached to the campaign.

                                                                  Figure 1.7

If no customer interests are configured for the campaign, the chart displays a single entry:
  1. No Interests

9. How Expected Reach Is Calculated

A customer is included in the Expected Reach only when all applicable campaign requirements are satisfied.
The customer must:
  1. Be linked to the selected store.
  2. Belong to an active store with notifications enabled.
  3. Have a validated email address.
  4. Be opted in for both loyalty and email communications.
  5. Match the campaign's configured interests (when applicable).
  6. Match the configured location targeting.
  7. Satisfy the configured age criteria.
  8. Match the configured gender.
  9. For Altria Tier 4 accounts, also satisfy the product targeting requirements and, when Frequent Shopping is enabled, have a qualifying recent purchase.

10. Age Matching Rules

Campaign Simulator evaluates age using the configured campaign option.
Age Rule
Description
All Ages
No age filtering is applied.
Specific Age
Only customers whose age exactly matches the configured value are included.
Age Range
Customers whose age falls within the configured minimum and maximum values (inclusive) are included.

10.1 Example

If a store contains:
  1. Total Customers: 1,000
  2. Expected Reach: 250
Then:
Overall Percentage = (250 ÷ 1,000) × 100 = 25.00%

If the store contains zero customers, the Overall Percentage displays 0.00%.
