- Fills out required fields:
- Rule Name
- Filter Criteria (Department, Category, Brand, Product, Manufacturer)
- Frequent Shopping Rule (optional)
- Timeframe (If Frequent Shopping Rule is enabled)
- Saves the rule.
Rule is created and stored in the system.
Step 2: CPRM Engine Process Selected Filters (Backend Processor)
- Engine begins filter evaluation based on:
- Customer purchases
- Filters applied
- Time-based filters (if Frequent Shopping Rule enabled)
Step 3: Build Customer List
- System compiles Eligible Customers List:
- Those who purchased matching products
Step 4: Store & Share the List
- The finalized list is saved into the Customer–Product Mapping Repository.
- The list becomes available as a shared global resource to all marketing modules.
Step 5: Refresh Logic
- The system updates the list automatically on a daily basis.
Step 6: Customer Records Validation
- Customer database provides:
- Purchase logs
- Profile attributes (only for discounts)
- Ensures CPMR Engine always uses the latest customer data.
Step 7: User selects a CPMR Rule
Inside any marketing module:
- User selects a Rule from the dropdown list.
- System retrieves the latest computed list.
Step 8: Frequent Shopping Rule Validation (If Enabled)
- For each campaign load/send:
- If Frequent Shopping Rule is enabled, the system validates:
- Are customers falling within the selected timeframe?
- Only customers who satisfy the rule at that moment qualify.
Step 9: Apply CPMR List to Campaign
- Campaign gets sent / shown only to:
- Customers included in the selected CPMR list
- AND who pass Frequent Shopping Rule (if applicable)
Targeting Success:
- Only relevant customers receive coupons, emails, promotions, or discounts.
Step 10: Campaign Delivery - Depending on module:
- Custom Coupon: Coupon visible under All Coupons > Coupons You Can Add section.
- Email Campaign: Email sent only to eligible customers.
- In-App Promotion: Promotion card shown to eligible customers.
- Discount Module: Discount automatically applies to eligible customers at POS.
Final Summary
The CPMR system lets retailers create targeted customer groups using product purchase behavior and frequency rules. When a rule is created, the backend processes all selected filters and builds a customer list from purchase history and profile data. This list is saved and shared across all marketing modules, such as Custom Coupons, Email Campaigns, In-App Promotions, and Discounts. When any module uses this rule, the system checks if the Frequent Shopping Rule applies and ensures customers fall within the selected timeframe. Only customers who pass all conditions receive the campaign or reward.
