How To Use Dayparting

What is Dayparting? 

Dayparting is where you can create a continuous schedule to automatically play at different times throughout the day. This feature is perfect for businesses that serve different products at different intervals of the day. For example, if you need to accommodate breakfast, lunch, happy hour, or dinner items, you can set these menu items to change automatically at the times you’d like.

1. Create a new board by clicking on the add+ icon button next to your promotional board.

1. A pop up will prompt you to copy over your digital signage from a previous board in your scheduler or you can choose to start from scratch. 
   

2. Click on open scheduler and build out your content schedule

1. Once your second board is completed, it’s time to schedule out your promotions at the appropriate intervals throughout the day. 
   

3. Click on the daypart icon on the right-hand side of the screen.  

Example board: Let’s say you want your new board to only play on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm-4pm.  

4. Drag and drop the appropriate board to specific days and times you’d like your promotion to run 

5. Drag the box you added to the right times.  

To save you some extra time on creating the block for Thursday, you can easily copy over the schedule you just created.  

6. On the block created, click on copy to day(s) and check off which days you’d like to copy the timed schedule over to. 

In this example, we are copying over Tuesday's schedule over to Thursdays.

7. Once you check off the day's you’d like, click copy. A pop-up will prompt you to copy over the schedule to the appropriate date and time. Click on yes, copy it! 

8. Once you’re satisfied, click on save, and you’re all set!
