Location Details [Store's Basic Details]
Settings -> Locations & Fulfillments -> "Location Details"
The Location Details can be configured from the Control Center, while the FTx Commerce Store Admin provides a read-only view to review the details.
This KB explains how to configure locations in FTx Commerce. If you need guidance on setting up locations from scratch, refer to this KB: Locations 1. Reaching Locations in Control Center
To set up a location in the Control Center, the following details must be provided:
- Step 1: Log into Control Center
- Step 2: Click Locations
OR - Step 1: Log into Control Center
- Step 2: Click Point of Sale
- Step 3: Click Maintenance
- Step 4: Click Locations

The following details are required to set up and fill in the control center side in the menu.
1.1 Location Details -> Details tab
Location Name: Enter a name for the location/store that customers recognize. This name will be displayed in the Store Admin, and can be searched on customer-facing site, and app.
Location Type: Select the type of location, Store or Warehouse.

This tab stores the address and contact details of the store. These details will be synced to the Store Admin (read-only mode and the Customer-facing site and app. When customers click on the store details, they will be redirected to the dedicated location page displaying these details.

1.3 Location Details -> Schedules
This section allows you to define the store’s opening and closing hours for the entire week. The schedule will be synced to the Store Admin (read-only). When customers view store details, the schedule will be displayed on the dedicated location page.

1.4 Location Details -> FTx Commerce tab
- Location Email: Enter the store's official email ID for business-related communication.
- Customer Support Email & Phone: You need to enter the email and phone number for customer support so the customers can communicate with the store executive regarding any queries related to orders, payments, or returns. The entered email and phone number will be displayed on the dedicated detail page of the location as well as in the email confirming the details of the order after a customer places it.
- Store Image: Upload a store image (640x480) that will be displayed on the dedicated location page.
- Order Notifications (to other store employees): Set up email notifications for store employees to receive order updates. Enter email IDs (one per line) in the provided textbox.
2. Reaching Location Details in Store Admin
As a retailer/store admin, you can set up "Location Details" for the e-commerce site/app on the control center side while you will have read-only view on the store admin side.
- Step 1: Log into Store Admin
- Step 2: Click Settings -> General
- Step 3: Click Locations & Fulfillments

- Step 4: Click Action for a specific Location
- By clicking the "action" (ellipsis) icon, you will see the list of setups to configure for the selected location.

The users can see the Location details as read-only view in Store Admin.

If any location (store) is recently synced from the Control Center, you will get the "Setup" button instead of the action (ellipsis) icon for that location. It means the fulfillment methods are yet to enabled.

3. Dedicated Page of Location
Customers can view store details by navigating to the dedicated location page through:
- When customers enter a City, State, or ZIP code on the "How would you like your order?" page, they will see a Store Details option on the location card,
- they can click on the View Store button to access detailed store information from selected store option on the header.
By clicking the Store Details option, customers will be redirected to the dedicated location page, where they can view all store details configured in the Control Center.

Although Location Details are typically a one-time setup, you can update the information from the Control Center as needed. For any queries, contact the Customer Support Team.
