1. Lottery Games Overview
A lottery game involves lottery tickets and drawing numbers at random for a prize. A lottery ticket is treated as a regular product and assigned a UPC. See Figure 1.1.

Figure 1.2 below shows the product details screen for a lottery ticket.

Once the lottery ticket is configured under the "Products" module, you need to navigate to “Lottery” to manage the lottery games. In each game, each roll has a unique game number. For example, Game #101 can have 100 tickets that are worth $1 each, and Game #102 can have 50 tickets for $5 each. 2. Reaching "Lottery Games"
To reach "Lottery Games," follow the below steps:
- Step 1: Log into Control Center
- Step 2: Choose Point of Sale
- Step 3: Choose Lottery
- Step 4: Choose Lottery Games

3. Understanding "Lottery Games" Layout
Please refer to Figure 3.1 and the descriptions of the buttons and fields below to understand the layout of "Lottery Games."

Buttons:
1. Add New: This button lets you add a new lottery game to the system.
2. Edit: This button lets you edit the existing lottery game.
3. Delete: This button lets you delete the existing lottery game.
4. Mass Update: This button lets you update the selected items at one time. See Figure 3.2 for reference.

- 1: You will see a list of games along with associated checkboxes for selecting the desired games. Check the games that you wish to mass update with Control/Shift Key + Left Click.

- Click on the "Update Lottery Games" button to update the selected lottery games.

2: Replace Existing Locations: This toggle, if set to ON, will replace the existing location (added under Manage Assignment (3) for lottery), but if it is turned OFF, it will append to the existing locations.

The Lottery Game Locations are appended as highlighted in Figure 3.6.

If the Replace Existing Location toggle is turned ON, then it will replace the existing location for the selected lottery game.

5. Update Game Counts: This button helps in updating game counts for the selected game and selected location, as highlighted in Figure 3.8.

- 1: Locations: Choose the location from the drop-down list for which you wish to update the game counts.
- 2: Lottery Game: This field lets you choose the lottery game from the drop-down list to update the game count.
- 3: Game Count: Enter the game count value with which you wish to update the game count, as highlighted in Figure 3.9.

6. Import Game Counts: This option works when you have to import game counts in a CSV (comma-separated values) file format. Choose the files from your local device and import the game counts by clicking on "Choose File."

4. Adding a New Lottery Game
Follow the steps mentioned below to add a new lottery game:
- Click the “Add New” button highlighted in Figure 3.1 above to add a new lottery game.
- The form highlighted in Figure 4.1 will appear on your screen.
- Account Name: Select your company name from this drop-down list. You will see more
than one account name in the drop-down list, but only if you have a software license
for multiple companies.
- Name: In this field, the name of the game is entered.
- Game Number: Here, the number of the game with the ticket is entered in this field.
- Roll Quantity: The number of physical tickets that are in the ticket book or roll is entered in this field.
- Amount: The price of the ticket to the customer.
- Game Active: This is a flag value that is set to YES if the game is active and can be used and set to NO if it is currently inactive and cannot be used.
- Item: This field lets you enter the item name from the drop-down list that has been created in the "Products" module.
- Manage Assignment: This field lets you manage the game assignment for different location/location groups. Here, you get three options, as highlighted in Figure 4.2.

- Fill in the required information in each field to add a new lottery game. You can then save and close using the highlighted buttons.
5. Editing the Lottery Game
Follow the steps below to edit the lottery game:
- Click the Edit button highlighted in Figure 3.1 above to edit the existing lottery game.
- The form highlighted in Figure 5.1 will appear on your screen.
- Make the changes and then save or save and close the form.
6. Deleting the Lottery Game
Follow the steps mentioned below to delete a commission:
- Click the Remove button highlighted in Figure 6.1 below to delete a lottery game.

- The dialog box highlighted in Figure 6.2 will appear on your screen.
- Click “Yes, delete” to continue the process of deleting your lottery game.
- Click “Cancel” to close the pop-up and skip the deletion process.
