Manage Multiple Locations (Stores) & Pricebook Zones

Setting up "Locations" and "Pricebook Zones" is an initial step to bringing the store online.

Locations encompass all details regarding the physical stores where customers can browse products online. Configuring this involves setting up the pricebook zones and inputting the store's address details, time zone, and other relevant information.

Locations

These locations are specific to the physical address and precise location of each retail store.

Ex. Homewood-Birmingham

Pricebook Zone

A pricebook zone serves as a container for product costs and prices, assigned to a particular location.

It holds the pricing information for products, facilitating the setup of product costs and retail prices.

Ex. Alabama State

1. Pricebook Zone

To establish the product costs and prices within a pricebook zone, do the following:
1. Create a pricebook zone first, following a specific procedure.
2. Assign the pricebook zone to the locations (stores).
3. Update the pricing details in the Product Master on the product detail page.
Access Pricebook Zones through Point of Sale -> Maintenance -> Locations -> Pricebook Zones.

Zone Color Schemes: Assigning the color to any pricebook zone would be easy to recognize when you perform the mass updates for products' price and cost.

2. Locations

For businesses with multiple stores across different regions, areas, states, or counties, it's essential to create all corresponding locations. Each location represents a physical store situated in distinct areas or regions, always linked to a specific pricebook zone.
