Payroll Settings Overview

You can integrate your payroll software with FTx Cloud POS in a few easy steps. As of now, it supports "ExcelForce" (formally known as PC Software). "Payroll Settings" enables you to create a configuration so that the time clock/payroll file can be dropped via FTP. 

This article includes information about:
  1. How to create a config to integrate "ExcelForce" with FTx Cloud POS. 

1. Reaching "Payroll Settings"

  1. Step 1: Log into Control Center

  3. Step 3: Choose Maintenance
  4. Step 4: Choose Settings & Panels
  5. Step 5: Choose Payroll

Note: You can also reach "Payroll Settings" by following the path: Control Panel >> Settings >> Payroll

2. Integrating "ExcelForce" with FTx Cloud POS  

Please follow the steps below to integrate "ExcelForce" with FTx Cloud POS. 
  1. Navigate to the Payroll Settings screen. 
  2. Click the Payroll System drop-down.

  1. The fields shown in Figure 2.2 appear. Fill in the appropriate information.

  1. Payroll System: This field shows the payroll system's name. In this case, "ExcelForce."
  2. Method: Choose the method from FTP, SFTP, and FTP Active.

  1. Port: Enter the port details.
  2. FTP Site: Enter the FTP site details in this field.
  3. Username: Enter the username in this field. 
  4. Password: Enter the password.   
  5. Subfolder: Enter the folder name.
  6. Test Payroll Connection: Use this button to test the connection.
  1. Once you enter the appropriate information, save it using the "Save & Close" or "Save" buttons.

Cancel: Use this button to cancel the integration process or changes made at any point. 
Save & Close: If you click the "Save & Close" button, the system will save the integration and navigate you to the Account Settings screen.
Save: Use this button to save the changes you have made at any point.
