Overview
The "Discount Details Report" offers a comprehensive breakdown of all discounts applied within the system. It includes essential information such as UPC, Pricebook, Old Price (before discount), and New Price (after discount).
This report enables users to track and analyze the impact of discounts on individual products and broader pricing strategies. It supports effective evaluation of discount performance and assists in making informed pricing decisions.

1. Reaching the "Discount Details Report"
To reach the "Discount Details Report," follow the steps below:
- Step 1: Log into Control Center
- Step 2: Choose Point of Sale
- Step 3: Choose Reports
- Step 4: Choose List Report
- Step 5: Choose Discount Details Report

2. Understanding the "Discount Details Report"
See Figure 2.0. You will see many types of list reports that will be useful to your retail business. By clicking the drop-down selection, you will see the different types of list reports.

You will see the "Report Data is Empty" message initially. You need to select the date range to check the Discount Details Report.
3. Generating the "Discount Details Report"
When you navigate to the page, you will see some options pre-selected by default. You can generate the Discount Details Report for the selected fields.

- Discount Name: Displays the name of the discount as defined in the "Discounts" module.
- Discount Amount: Shows the value of the applied discount.
- Date Range: Indicates the period during which the discount is active.
- Discount Qty: Represents the quantity of items receiving the discount once the trigger is met.
- Discount Trigger Qty: The number of items required to trigger the discount.
- Discount Receipt Text: The custom text entered during discount setup that appears on the customer’s receipt.
Affected Product Details:
- UPC: The UPC of the item associated with the discount trigger.
- Item Name: The name of the item for which the discount applies.
- Pricebook Zone: The pricebook zone that includes the discounted item.
- Original Price: The item’s price before the discount is applied.
- New Price: The item’s price after the discount is applied.
3.1. Filter by Discounts
This field has an attached drop-down menu consisting of two options:
1. Show All: This option will display the data in the reports for all created discounts in the system. See Figure 3.1.1.
2. Filter By Discount: This option will display the list of discounts on the Manage Filter page to select discounts from. When the list is selected, the report will display data related to that list of discounts.
- Click on the "Manage" button to apply filters to get the customized results.
- Upon clicking the "Manage" button, Figure 3.1.2 appears.

Manage Filter Screen Information:
1. Search: Use this search box for a specific result.
2: Results: Here, you see the relevant list of data for the selected discount. You can search for a specific discount in the Search bar as well.
3. Active Only: Use this drop-down menu to filter the Manage Filter data by selecting from three options — Active Only, Inactive Only, Active and Current, or All Records — based on the current status of the discount.
4: Checkboxes: Select the required products by checking the appropriate checkboxes.
5: Arrow: Click the green Arrow button to move the selected records to the Selected List Area as highlighted in Figure 3.1.3.

1. Click the "Clear Selection" button to remove the whole selection. To remove any record from the list, click the Remove (x) icon.
2: Apply/Close action buttons.
- Apply: Click the "Apply" button for the selected parameters. The system will navigate you to the Discount Details Report home screen. Click "Generate Report." The system will generate reports based on your selection.
- Close: Click to close the Manage Filters window.

- You can filter your sales data in the report by selecting a specific date range and time.
- Click the Edit box to open a calendar where you can choose your desired date range. Alternatively, you can manually enter the dates using the mm/dd/yyyy format.

- Start Date: Use this field to specify the beginning of the date range.

- Presets: Use this option to select a predefined duration or interval for generating the report.

5. Pricebook Zone
The Pricebook Zone Filter displays all zones linked to the company account.

Select a pricebook zone, and click the "Generate Report" button to view cost and price data based on the selected zone.

This filter displays the results in the Discount Details List Report based on the selected pricebook zone. 6. Checkbox Filters
- Show Stackable: When the Stackable flag is enabled in the Discounts module, the Discount Details Report displays the items eligible for stackable discounts.

- When this toggle is set to "Yes," the report will display items that have two or more discounts applied.
If the toggle is set to "Yes," multiple discounts can be applied to the same product within a single transaction. If the toggle is set to "No," the system will apply only one discount based on priority — the discount with the highest priority (1 being the highest) will be used.

- Require Loyalty: If this toggle (under Discounts) is set to "No," the discount is available to all customers — no loyalty membership is required. If set to "Yes," the discount only applies when a registered loyalty customer is associated with the transaction.

- Setting it to "Yes" also requires actions on the below-mentioned options.
- Triggerable Items: This filter displays a list of items that activate discounts when added to a sale transaction.

- Show Schedules: This filter displays the Discount Details Report based on discounts and their associated trigger items that are scheduled within a specific time range set in the Discounts module.
In the Discounts module, this feature is used to schedule discounts to be active on selected days and within defined time ranges.

- Show Only Current: This filter displays the discount detail report for discounts that are currently active within the selected time range defined in the Discounts Module.

FTx Cloud POS supports report automation. You can configure a report and schedule it. The system will send the scheduled report to the indicated email IDs at the defined frequencies (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.).
8. Printing/Exporting a Report
You can print or export any report according to your requirements. When you use the Print function, the system creates and opens the report's PDF file in a new tab. You can download the soft copy or print the paper copy according to your requirements.
9. Manage Favorites
FTx Cloud POS allows quick access to the reports you need to view frequently through "Favorite Reports." You can save a report as a favorite and manage all your favorite reports from any of the report screens using the "Manage Favorites" button.
