Manufacturer Accounts User

Overview

The "Manufacturer Users" page allows Admin users to create and manage individual user accounts under a specific manufacturer. This enables controlled access for manufacturer team members to relevant modules within the Loyal-n-Save platform.

Access Control: This section is accessible only to Admin users. Manufacturer users can log in and operate only within the permissions assigned to them.

Reaching the "Manufacturer Users" Module

To reach the "Manufacturer Users" module:
  1. Log into Control Center
  2. Choose Manufacturer
  3. Choose Accounts
  4. Choose Users

Manufacturer Users Page

When navigating to Manufacturer Accounts → Manufacturer Users, a grid displays the list of users associated with the selected manufacturer. From this page, Admins can add new users and manage existing ones.

Adding a New Manufacturer User

To create a new manufacturer user account:
  1. Navigate to the Manufacturer Users page.
  2. Click "Add New."
  3. A user creation form is displayed as shown below.

User Details

  1. First Name: Enter the first name of the manufacturer user.
  2. Last Name: Enter the last name of the manufacturer user.
  3. Username: Specify a unique username for platform login.
  4. E-mail Address: Enter a valid email address for the user. This email is used for login, notifications, and communication.
  5. Password: Create a secure password for the user account.
  6. Password Confirmation: Re-enter the password to confirm accuracy.
  7. Send Welcome Email: Enable this checkbox to send an automated welcome email containing login and onboarding information.
  8. Active: Use the toggle to enable or disable the user’s access. When disabled, the user cannot log in to the platform.
  9. CW Contact: Select the corresponding ConnectWise contact to link this user account with an existing ConnectWise record, if applicable.

Permission Type

On the right side of the form, the Permission Type section defines the level of access granted to the manufacturer user.

  1. All
  2. Allow (Custom)

All: Grants full access to all manufacturer-level modules, including:

  1. Loyalty
  2. Products
  3. Users
  4. Stores
  5. Settings
  6. Manufacturer Reports

Custom: Allows Admin users to assign access selectively by choosing specific permissions using checkboxes. This option is used to restrict user access based on role or responsibility.

Saving the User

After entering the required details and selecting the appropriate permissions:

  1. Review the user information and permissions.

  2. Click "Save" to create the manufacturer user account.

The newly created user will appear in the Manufacturer Users list and can access the platform based on the assigned permissions.

Usage Notes

  • At least one permission must be assigned when Custom is selected.

  • Changes to user permissions take effect immediately after saving.

  • Disabling a user does not delete the account and can be reversed at any time.
