New Items Report - Store Employee
New Items Report Overview
The "New Items Report" helps track products that have been recently added to the system. This report allows users to view a list of new inventory items introduced over a specified number of days. It is useful for inventory management, stocking decisions, and verifying item creation workflows.
Reaching "New Items Report"
To reach the "New Items Report," follow the steps:
- Step 1: Log into Control Center
- Step 2: Choose Reports
- Step 3: Choose List Reports
- Step 4: Choose New Report
Figure 1.1 below will help you better understand the navigation.

When you click "New Items Report," the New Items Report screen will open. As shown in Figure 2.1, it provides relevant filtering and sorting options.

New Items List Report screen information:- Days: This is a numeric input where you enter the number of past days they want the report to cover. In the image, it's set to 1 day, meaning it will show items added in the last 1 day.
3. Generating "New Items" Report
Select a value in the Days field to view how many new items were added to the inventory in the past X days, where X is the number you enter, and click on the "Generate Report" button as highlighted in Figure 3.1.
- Date: This shows the exact date and time when the item was entered into the inventory system, helping you track when new products were added.
- PLU (Product Lookup Unit): This is a unique code that identifies each item in the system, used for scanning, tracking, and inventory management purposes.
- Item Name: It displays the name or description of the newly added product, making it easy to recognize or cross-check with physical stock.
- Price: It indicates the selling price assigned to the item at the time it was added, which helps ensure accurate pricing and financial tracking.
4. Scheduling a Report
FTx Cloud POS supports report automation. You can configure a report and schedule it. The system will send the scheduled report to the indicated email IDs at the defined frequencies (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.).
5. Printing/Exporting a Report
You can print or export any report according to your requirements. When you use the Print function, the system creates and opens the report's PDF file in a new tab. You can download the soft copy or print the paper copy according to your requirements.
6. Manage Favorites
FTx Cloud POS allows quick access to the reports you need to view frequently through "Favorite Reports." You can save a report as a favorite and manage all your favorite reports from any of the report screens using the "Manage Favorites" button.
