Weekly Periods - Store Employee
Weekly Periods Overview
Weekly Periods, also referred to as Employee Schedule Periods, enable you to create and manage weekly timeframes for assigning employee schedules based on location. This feature allows you to allocate staff to specific locations for the selected week and summarizes the number of employees scheduled, along with their total working hours.
This article includes information about:
- How to add new weekly periods.
- How to view and delete the weekly period.
1. Reaching "Weekly Periods"
- Step 1: Log into Control Center
- Step 2: Choose Store (Location)

- Step 4: Choose Weekly Periods

2. Understanding the "Weekly Period" Layout
Please refer to Figure 2.1 and the descriptions of the buttons and fields below to understand the layout of "Weekly Period."

- Column Titles: Each column title indicates the type of information in the column.
- 1: Add New: Use this button to add a new weekly period.
- 2.1: Edit Weekly Period: Use this button to view a weekly period.
- 2.2: Delete Weekly Period: Use this button to delete a weekly period.
3. Adding a New Weekly Period
Please follow the steps below to add a new weekly period.
- Click the "Add New" button highlighted in Figure 2.1.
- The Create Employee Schedule Period screen will open, as Figure 3.1 shows.

- Click in the Period field. A calendar drop-down will open, as Figure 3.2 shows. Please select the desired date. The system recognizes Sunday as the first day of the week and Saturday as the last day of the week for the selected date. For example, in the figure below, 22nd July is selected. The system has considered the week starting from 07/20/2025 and ending on 07/26/2025.

- Cancel: This button lets you cancel the vendor part or the changes made to the weekly period.
- Save & Close: If you click the "Save & Close" button, the system will save the weekly period and navigate you to the Weekly Periods screen.
- Save: This button lets you save the changes you have made at any point.
- Click the "Save" button.
- The system will create the weekly period.
4. Viewing Weekly Period
Please follow the steps below to view the weekly period.
- Click the Edit icon highlighted in Figure 2.1.
- The View Employee Schedule Period screen will appear.

- Location: This field shows the store name for viewing the schedule period.
- Period: This field shows the selected weekly time frame in MM/DD/YYYY - MM/DD/YYYY format (e.g., 07/20/2025 - 07/26/2025).
- Information Panel: This panel provides a summary of employee scheduling for the selected location and period:
- Total Employees in Period: This field shows the number of employees scheduled during the selected week. If the value is 0, no employees have been assigned yet.
- Total Hours Scheduled: This field shows the cumulative scheduled working hours for all assigned employees. A value of 0 hours means no working hours are currently scheduled.
5. Deleting a Weekly Period
Please follow the steps below to delete the weekly period.
- Click the respective Delete icon, highlighted in Figure 2.1.
- The warning message will appear, as Figure 5.1 shows.

- Click “Yes, Delete” to continue deleting the weekly period record.
- Click “Cancel” to close the pop-up and skip the deletion process.
