Commission Report - Store Employee

Commission Report Overview

The "Commission Report" page allows users to generate reports based on employee or sales commissions. Users can filter data by time periods such as Today, Last 7 Days, or a custom date range. Options are available to schedule reports, export them, or save filter settings as favorites. This helps track and analyze commission performance efficiently.

This article explains how to configure filters, generate reports, and export or schedule them as needed.

1. Reaching the "Commission Report"

To reach the "Commission Report," follow the steps below:
  1. Step 1: Log into Control Center
  2. Step 2: Choose Reports
  3. Step 3: Choose List Reports
  4. Step 4: Choose Commission

2. Understanding the "Commission Report"

When you click "Commission," the "Commission Report" screen will open with relevant filtering and sorting options, as Figure 2.1 shows.

The report data will be empty initially. You must select the appropriate filters and click "Generate Report" to generate a report. 

3. Generating the "Commission Report"

To generate the "Commission Report," apply the appropriate Filter by Time filter and click on the "Generate Report" button.

Filter By Time: This dropdown menu allows you to define the time period for which the Commission Report should be generated. It is a required field, meaning you must select a time filter before generating the report.
The available options are:

  • All Time: Displays commission data for the entire history of the system, without applying any date limits.

  • Month to Date: Shows all commission data from the 1st day of the current month up to today’s date. Useful for tracking monthly progress in real time.

  • Today: Filters and displays data only for the current day. Ideal for checking real-time or daily commission totals.

  • Last 7 Days: Includes data from the past 7 days, including today. Helpful for analyzing short-term trends and recent performance.

  • Between Dates: Allows you to specify a custom start and end date. This option is best when analyzing a particular time frame that doesn’t fall under the predefined categories.

This filter ensures that the report is relevant to the specific period you're interested in analyzing.

4. Scheduling a Report

FTx Cloud POS supports report automation. You can configure a report and schedule it. The system will send the scheduled report to the indicated email IDs at the defined frequencies (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.).

5. Printing/Exporting a Report 

You can print or export any report according to your requirements. When you use the Print function, the system creates and opens the report's PDF file in a new tab. You can download the soft copy or print the paper copy according to your requirements.

6. Manage Favorites 

FTx Cloud POS allows quick access to the reports you need to view frequently through "Favorite Reports." You can save a report as a favorite and manage all your favorite reports from any of the report screens using the "Manage Favorites" button.
