Flash Report - Store Employee

Flash Report Overview 

The "Flash Report" lets you view three configurations: Buydowns, Commissions, and System Discounts. You can filter them by using the Current, Future, and Expiring filter options.

This article includes information about:

1. Reaching the "Flash Report"

  1. Step 1: Log into Control Center
  2. Step 2: Choose Store
  3. Step 3: Choose Reports

Figure 1.1 below will help you better understand the navigation.

When you click "Flash," the Flash Report screen will open. As shown in Figure 1.2, it provides relevant filtering and sorting options.

2. Generating the "Flash Report"

Please follow the steps below to generate the "Flash Report"
  1. Navigate to the Flash Report screen. It shows three sections: Buydowns, Commissions, and System Discounts. As Figure 1.2 above shows, each section has three checkbox options: Current, Future, and Expiring
  2. You can view records for only one section or choose to view records for multiple sections. For example:
    1. To see the list of current buydowns, tick the Current Buydowns checkbox and click "Generate Report." The system will then display the list, as Figure 2.1 shows.

  1. Name: This column represents the name of the selected option that was added during the configuration.
  2. Manufacturer: This column represents the name of the manufacturer whose products are to be sold with a buydown. 
  3. Amount: This column represents the dollar amount of the applicable buydown on the product's price. 
  4. Start/End Date: This column represents when the selected option has started and when it will be stopped. 
    1. To see the list of current buydowns, system discounts, and commissions, tick the Current Buydowns, System Discounts, and Current Commissions checkboxes, and click "Generate Report."

For System Discounts:
  1. Name: This column represents the name of the system discount setup added during the configuration.
  2. Discount Type: This column represents the system discount applicable when the sales occur.
  3. Start/End Date: This column represents when the system discount will become applicable and when it will be stopped.
  4. Schedule: This column represents whether the schedule was set up.
For Commissions:
  1. Name: This column represents the name of the commission setup that was added during the configuration.
  2. Type: This column represents the commission applied when the sales occurred.
  3. Value: This column represents the dollar amount of the commission as per the selection type.
  4. Start/End Date: This column represents when the commission will become applicable and when it will be stopped.
    1. Similarly, you can choose to view the future or expiring buydowns, system discounts, and commissions. For example:
    2. To include the future buydowns in the report, tick the Future Buydowns checkbox. The Starting in next #Days field will appear, as Figure 2.3 shows. By default, the system will show one in it. If you enter ten in it and click "Generate Report," the system will show the future buydowns starting in the next ten days in the report. 
    3. To include expiring buydowns in the report, tick the Expiring Buydowns checkbox. The Expiring in next #Days field will appear, as Figure 2.3 shows. By default, the system will show one in it. If you enter ten in it and click "Generate Report,the system will show the future buydowns expiring in the next ten days in the report. 
    4. Similarly, you can choose to include future commissions and system discounts and expiring commissions and system discounts in the report. The report will show the records based on your selection. However, the report format will be the same as shown in Figure 2.1 and Figure 2.2.

4. Scheduling a Report

FTx Cloud POS supports report automation. You can configure a report and schedule it. The system will send the scheduled report to the indicated email IDs at the defined frequencies (Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, etc.)

5. Printing/Exporting a Report 

You can print or export any report according to your requirements. When you use the Print function, the system creates and opens the report's PDF file in a new tab. You can download the soft copy or print the paper copy according to your requirements.

6. Manage Favorites 

FTx Cloud POS allows quick access to the reports you need to view frequently through Favorite Reports. You can save a report as a favorite and manage all your favorite reports from any of the report screens using the "Manage Favorites" button.
